Sen. Pia S. Cayetano reminisced those days when her father, the late Sen. Rene Cayetano who was then the administrator of Export Processing Zone Authority (EPZA), now Philippine Economic Zone Authority. “He used to take us here in Bataan when he was the EPZA administrator and we enjoyed the trip,” she told reporters during the opening of Padel court in Balanga City last Tuesday.
The lady senator who keeps her feminine physique through sports conducted padel clinic and held ceremonial play with Bataan Second District Rep. Albert S. Garcia. Bataan Gov. Joet Garcia, Balanga City Mayor Francis Garcia and Board Member Antonino Roman III and Ramon Garcia graced the event which was elaborately covered by the local media through the enthusiastic PR Team of the senator.
Cayetano who promotes padel sport plans to hold more padel clinics in other provinces. She encouraged everyone to play padel which is almost similar to tennis.
Gov. Garcia said Cayetano will help to put up public courts for padel sport in Bataan. This will give local residents more particularly the health buffs to improve their skill in padel sport.
